“A Banana a Day…
Instead of eating an apple each day for optimum health, the adage should state that a banana each day keeps the doctor away.
The banana health benefits far outweigh those of the apple because it has many more vitamins and nutrients than their round counterparts.” [lifescript.com]

I got a free sample of stuff, so I made a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie! 2 bananas, almond milk, chia seeds, peanut butter, cococardio sample, and a dash of stevia. Good morning!

You were so right. That banana was not right…
2wheelsforwings replied to your photo: Is this banana ripe or not? It still has green on…
Kill it quick! Never trust a speckled green banana. That’s rule #1.

My pumpkin banana bread! I just added pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice to my regular banana bread recipe. It goes something like this:
3 bananas
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
about 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unbleached all purpouse flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
about 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, ginger, lemon peel, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom)
Mash/mix the first 5 ingredients. separately mix all the dry, then combine. Bake for 40-50 minutes. I usually do about 43.
